Westfield Removals have a fleet of vehicles capable of servicing local and national (sometimes international!) removals. Our largest van is an extra-large Luton, which is over 7.5 meters long and 3.5 meters high. Our fleet can accommodate domestic removals of most sizes.
Our smallest jobs do have a minimum call out charge for one van, covering 3 hours. We are always completely honest during our surveys, so whilst we endeavour to cover all work asked of us, we may say ‘no’ to the occasional job if we think it could be dangerous or go against our safety / insurance principles.
We offer a free waiting period of up to two additional hours whilst waiting for keys for jobs that are undertaken on the day of completion and in a chain which is built into your bespoke quote. In extreme circumstances, we only charge by the hour thereafter if there are any additional hold ups above and beyond.
On the day of your removal, we arrive at the agreed start time (usually 8.30am) and promptly begin the loading process. Your items and boxes are carefully and safely loaded into the vehicles ready for their onward journey. At your new property, we unload and begin to distribute items into your selected rooms and help you start to arrange your large items of furniture and larger appliances. We always leave you when you are fully happy that you have everything you need to hand and wish you all the best in your new home, after what we know can be a stressful lead up period in the housing chain.
If you require a full packing service, please ask for this at your quotation. Also, if you require additional packaging materials then we can arrange this for you at an additional cost from our trusted suppliers. We have a number of Transrobe boxes to help move items of clothing whilst on the hangers. These can be loaned to you free of charge, subject to availability.
